Hi everyone! Jonathan here.
Hope everyone is doing great with their bitcoin trading. 🙂 Anyway, I am writing this post to inform you that update 1.3 for BTC robot has been released and applied for all users. Hence, even if you are on the Silver plan, there is no action needed on your part.
Here’s an overview of what the update is about:
It will address some of the BTC-e API changes which had prevented the robot from being able to display the balance accurately. As a result, some of you folks may have seen a sudden dip in your balance overnight.
I have updated my FAQ with the common questions. So please check it out whenever you face any issues with your robot before emailing me.
Other news from around the world:
I have received news that Switzerland is proposing for bitcoin to be considered as a foreign currency. This is truly exciting. If the proposal goes through, I am sure other countries will follow suit as well. 🙂
That marks the end of this update! Feel free to leave your comments below.
To your bitcoin trading success!
My BTC-E account has only trade and info boxes, and no withdrawal box. I asked the BTC Robot folks for some help, and have not received any word. The API keys show invalid on the robot without the withdrawal box available. Do you know how to fix this?
Thanks,
Gary
Hi Gary,
It is normal for the API key to have trade and info boxes now. It is the same with mine. Would you mind sending me a screen shot of your error by using my contact form: http://bitcoinworldwide.net/contact-us/
Thanks.
Jonathan
I need your email address to attach the screen shot to it. The BTC page where I am putting my API keys in says that three columns must be selected, which are trade, info, and withdrawal. I have a PDF of the screen show.
Hi Gary,
The withdrawal has been removed. You just need to check the trade and info boxes.
Regards,
Jonathan
Okay it is finally trading…. I asked customer service to reinstall it, and it is trading finally. Question: I have bitcoins, started with 1.115 BTC, and the robot is turning some into USD. I would think the robot should only trade in BTC so you can get the maximum upswing on a price rise. Or you could have protection in USD on a downswing in BTC price. What are your thoughts?
Hi Gary,
The robot’s objective is to offer both protection in USD on a downswing in BTC price as well as to maximize your overall portfolio value.
Regards,
Jonathan
